Hurricane Beryl

Photos | -Donate

After Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the Texas coast as a Category 1 storm, millions of residents were left without power. Salvation Emergency Disaster Services teams were on hand immediately offering meals, snacks, drinks, and emotional and spiritual care to survivors. Intense heat made lack of power more dangerous, and teams distributed ice and water to survivors and first responders alike until power was restored.
